About Michael Ho
I am Michael Ho, a freelance photographer and photojournalist based in San Francisco Bay Area and San Diego Area in California. I was born and raised in Hong Kong, I left Hong Kong for America in 2021. I have taken photos since 2018 and covered the news in Hong Kong, San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego and beyond. In my career so far, I have been covered Hong Kong protest in 2019, Covid-19, National Security Law, Abortion right protests in U.S., Truck Driver Strikes, Wildfires in California and LGBTQ+ protests in U.S. and more other topics. My photos have been featured on different media such as The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, NBC news, CNN, Fox news, and more. Other than photojournalism, I am also good at Sport Photography and Event Photography. I was the official photographer of 2022 San Francisco Marathon, 2022 Berkeley Half Marathon and 2024 San Francisco Marathon. In addition, I also take sport and event photos for plenty of schools, colleges and businesses. My mission is capturing different moments around the world and use my images to impact the world and people.
